Generate the rota, publish when it is ready
ChiesApp proposes who to put where, spreading the load across the team: whoever has served least is proposed first, and whoever is already carrying a lot stays out. You override anything you want, then publish in one click.
Until you publish, the rota is a draft only organisers can see. Nobody gets a shift that later changes.

Less chasing, for everyone
The usual setup is a group chat plus a table that breaks every time someone edits it. Two people end up on the same slot, and whoever misses the message does not turn up.
Here the coordinator builds the draft, checks the coverage and publishes. Each volunteer finds their date and role in ChiesApp. Anyone who does not use the app gets the rota as a PDF, or in their own calendar through iCal.

Frequently asked questions
Does ChiesApp build the volunteer rota automatically?
Yes. It generates a draft that spreads the load across the team, proposing first the people who have served least, and respects the minimum rest and the monthly cap you set. You review it, change what you want and publish. Volunteers see the rota only after you publish it.
Can volunteers see the rota before it is published?
No. The draft is visible only to organisers. When you publish, each volunteer sees their shift in ChiesApp, and gets the rota as a PDF or an iCal feed.
Can I export the rota?
Yes, to PDF for printing and to iCal, so shifts land in each volunteer’s own calendar. Handy for the people who do not use the app.
What if I book the same person twice?
You get a warning while you build the draft: the same person on two overlapping services, too little rest between shifts, over the monthly cap. Nothing stops you publishing anyway — sometimes a clash is the right call — but you decide knowing it is there.
