ChiesApp — church management software, built in Europe
ChiesApp brings your church into one place: people and families, ministries and volunteer rotas, attendance, calendar and events, event registrations with tickets and check-in, finances, forms and messages. Cloud-based, GDPR-compliant, and free up to 30 contacts.
What ChiesApp is
ChiesApp is a church management platform (SaaS) for evangelical and free churches. It replaces the spreadsheet, the WhatsApp groups and the four tools that never talk to each other with one place where the people, the services, the events and the money of a community live.
It started from a real need — running a church better — and it is built in Europe, under European privacy rules, by people who use it in their own church every week.
Who it is for
- Pastors and church leaders.
- Ministry and team coordinators (worship, welcome, kids, tech, and the rest).
- Treasurers and administrators.
- Volunteers and members, who receive their shifts, events and messages.
What you can do with it
- Keep people and families in one register, with dynamic segments and import/export.
- Organise ministries and build volunteer rotas — draft, publish, export to PDF and iCal.
- Take attendance at services by category and read the trend over time.
- Run events and a shared calendar, with two-way Google Calendar sync.
- Track and plan church finances: statement, funds, projects, assets, reports.
- Open registrations for an event with tiers, add-ons and discount codes, send the ticket as a PDF and check people in with the camera at the door.
- Describe people with labels: category (who they are), role (what they do) and free tags.
- Build forms, send push messages and publish public pages for the community.
Why churches choose it
- One place instead of four: people, shifts, attendance, events and money share the same data.
- GDPR by design, hosted in the EU. Members can be exported or erased on request.
- No commission on event registrations, because ChiesApp never touches the money.
- Free up to 30 contacts, no credit card. Paid plans grow with the church, not with the invoice.
- It connects to what you already use — Mailchimp, Brevo, Klaviyo, MailerLite, Google Calendar — instead of asking you to drop it.
What ChiesApp does NOT do (on purpose)
- It does not process online payments or donations. Finances is there to track and plan, not to collect.
- It does not collect event fees either: the church lists its own methods (bank transfer, PayPal, cash at the door), the attendee declares the payment, a staff member confirms it. No money passing through means no commission.
- It does not record attendance automatically or biometrically. Someone marks it.
- It does not sell an "AI" badge or biometric kiosks.
Frequently asked questions
What is ChiesApp?
ChiesApp is church management software: one cloud platform for members, families, volunteer rotas, attendance, events, registrations and church finances. Built in Europe and GDPR-compliant.
Is ChiesApp an alternative to Planning Center or ChurchSuite?
Yes. It covers the same ground — people, ministries, rotas, events — but it is built in Europe, under European privacy rules, and it is free up to 30 contacts.
How much does it cost?
Free up to 30 contacts, no credit card. Above that, plans are priced by the number of members (Starter, Ministry, Growth, Network). Churches joining now keep their price.
What is included in the free plan?
People, families, attendance, labels, teams and ministries, shifts, events, activities, rooms, calendar and analytics. Two areas are paid — Communication (spaces, pages, forms, lists and segments) and Resources (finances, projects, reports, café) — and so are event registrations: all three come with the Ministry plan, which carries 300 sign-ups a month, unlimited from Growth.
Does ChiesApp handle online donations?
No, and that is deliberate. ChiesApp does not process payments or donations: the Finances module tracks and plans church resources instead of collecting money.
Is the app available in English?
Yes. The interface has an English translation you can switch to from your profile settings, alongside Italian.
