Frequently asked questions
What is ChiesApp?
Cloud church management software for evangelical churches: people and families, volunteer rotas, attendance, events and registrations, the church website, finances and analytics in one place.
Who founded ChiesApp?
Gabriele Martucci (Chiesa Gesù Vive, Porto Sant’Elpidio) and Lorenzo Pascalis (Chiesa Vita Nuova, Besozzo), in 2025. They are not pastors: they are two people who live church every week and built what they needed themselves.
Is ChiesApp free?
There is a free plan, forever, up to 30 contacts and no card. Paid plans follow the member band of the community, never the number of users.
Where is ChiesApp’s data hosted?
In the European Union, on Supabase in Frankfurt. Each church sees only its own data and processing is GDPR-compliant.
Does ChiesApp handle online donations?
No, by design: it tracks and plans finances but does not collect money, neither for offerings nor for event registrations, so there is no commission.
Can I connect Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Under Integrations you create a code and paste it into the assistant you already use. It reads only the areas you choose and prepares drafts; it never publishes, never notifies anyone and never reads pastoral notes, addresses, money or consents.
